
Training & Recovery Do's and Dont's
As a D3 student-athlete, training and recovery are key to staying healthy and performing your best. It’s important to show up consistently to workouts, give your best effort, and listen to your coaches—but it’s just as important to rest. Don’t overtrain or ignore signs of injury or burnout. Make sure you’re fueling your body with the right food, staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, and taking recovery days seriously. Skipping recovery can lead to setbacks, so learn to balance hard work with proper rest to keep your body and mind in a good place.
